The locale: Without umbrellas and sunbeds, the beach is ideal for a quick dip for those who insist on keeping within a safe distance from the Chora. The lack of organization is due to the north winds which pound it mercilessly, although it’s this northerly orientation which makes it ideal for windsurfing. Attacked full-frontally by north winds so during the period of the strong meltemi winds, conditions can be quite difficult.
