When grandfather Nicholas Daktilidis opened the first taverna in Agia Anna, he never imagined it would be such a success  -- today, after four decades, it remains one of the places to visit if you are in the area. The Mykonos meeting place is renowned for the best pies on the island,  very fresh seafood, their epic vegetable moussaka, grandma’s iconic meatballs, and of course the traditional Mykonian onion pie, which you should certainly try if you want to be au fait with Mykonian gastronomy.
