The Champagne Bar specializes in everything connected to the sparkling wine.

Following last year’s cruise to Mykonos, they decided to make their dream come true on the island: we are talking about a champagne bar and a boutique. Ronald and Despina Winters from Belgium share their love of champagne in a glass (three labels available) or by the bottle, accompanied by fresh fruit, finger food with salmon, mozzarella and fois gras in their white, easy-going bar with collector’s champagne items, letting the LED lighting transform colour moods. Those of you (especially women) who have a thing about jewellery, especially creations by Elina Anagnostopoulou, must definitely visit the new store named after her elaborate collection. In a designer setting with earthy influences, and leather and matting details, one can discover the designer’s hand-crafted jewellery in pink and white gold, decorated with precious stones, with a particular focus on white and black brilliants. Also on display are works by D/A Anagnostopulos.

The fourth store of the Georgios & Co chain has been placing emphasis on unique items enhanced by its minimal décor in black and white tones with grey hints for the last 32 years. Moving away from archaic influences, the stands display hand-crafted, 18K silver and gold Georgios sets, with precious and semi-precious stones, Philip Stein and Effy Diverso youth lines, as well as AWI watches and Parasul bags.

With furniture as the common denominator, Emporium’s Italian pieces welcomed this year partner store Kartell to the store’s glass first floor. To enhance Italian furniture collections with designer decorative equipment aimed at mainly industrial use, Kartell displays creations by distinguished designers such as Philippe Starck and Antonio Citterio.

An original idea gave birth to a versatile space with a minimalist design, making it look like a single space with “no limits” rooms that house hand-crafted furniture, specialised gadgets, selected clothes and hip accessories. It could be a compact department store, but Cosset bears no trace of commercialism. In fact, the low lighting and successful layout offer a familiar and intimate atmosphere.

Already with outposts throughout Athens, in Kolonaki, Kifissia and at the Athens International Airport, the American fashion house has established yet another store, with a playful character, on Mykonos. Decorative elements include peacocks and various types of sweets which enhance the ethereal and romantic designs of the women’s clothing line, nostalgic floral dresses with slight rock influences, frilled vintage pieces, ’60s-style wavy swimsuits and a chic children’s collection.

The mysterious surfers’ beach inspired the people at Alemagou to create a restaurant near the Akri taverna, in Ftelia, with modern Greek recipes based on seafood. For the design, they chose K studio architects were justified by the custom-made result. Traditional local materials make their appearance on the dry stone walls; the ceiling is strewn with a decorative ear of corn; light fittings made of old flasks offer the necessary radiance. At the bar, special cocktails with secret recipes create an experience that is, literally, alternative and interesting.
