The general refurbishment by French designer Fabienne Spahn has just been completed, giving the hotel a more minimalist style with elegant furnishings. Arches and wooden elements do not go amiss against the stone directional décor. The difference is made in the details in the rooms, restaurant and the bar in the centre of the pool. 

What’s new: 4 Deluxe Suites with outdoor Jacuzzi and the villa with the private pool.

Totally committed to a philosophy of taking inspiration from local architecture, as seen in the White Lounge bar, and its high-end services. This is apparent above all in the superior category accommodations with oval hot tubs and private pools as well as the Beach Pavilion cabana for private romantic dinners; airy curtains, gold tablecloths, degustation menus and private waiting staff, all against the background of an Agios Ioannis sunset. 

A real Mykonian homecoming based on real service and modern facilities representing the highest quality, such as the hydro massage in the superior rooms, which now total 36 after this year’s refurbishment of 12 standard rooms. The high standard is reflected by the presence of either internal or external Jacuzzis in 5 of the superior rooms and private pools in 3 of the suites. What’s new: Τhe renovated Thyoni restaurant which has adopted a creative cuisine, with a menu created by Dimitris Makrodimitri.

Inside, traditional settings dominate with classic furnishings and beds with comfortable Media Strom mattresses, tiled showers or bathtubs and outdoor furniture by Almeco. After drinks at the Sunset bar by the pool, move on to the dining room which remains open till 01.00 am.

On a secluded corner of Elia, this property sets the scene for relaxation with its straw umbrellas, azure waters and subtle sense of calm. As a Myconian Collection property, it is furnished as befits a distinguished residence, with 118 romantic bedrooms which are at the forefront of tasteful decoration, 19 of them being fitted with luxury water touches such as outdoor jacuzzis or private pools.
Popular meeting places include the Celebrities restaurant and Nostos, the pool restaurant.

Τhe refurbishment project continues with another 13 standard rooms which will take on a more modern form with Kourtis wooden floors and marble bathrooms. Not to mention the 2 snack bars, children’s pool, playground, 10 family rooms-for 5 people-and the 16 blue suites which will appeal to bigger groups.

With its Aegean style externally, the rooms and suites within exude a multi-coloured pop concept which harks back to the 60s and 70s. The strong team seems unable to say no to any request. Try the delicacies at the Lady Finger restaurant or a massage from George Kikili. The eco philosophy in the bathrooms with the in-built washbasins tone are in harmony with the 13 refurbished Cocoon rooms designed using natural materials such as reeds and pebbles designed by K. Lambrinopulos.

What’s new: The boutique with clothes, accessories and jewellery by new Greek designers.

Against the backdrop of the Gyzis Venetian Castle, 11 studios welcome visitors to comfortable, familiar rooms with built-in sofas, plain beds, and bathrooms with pebbles and glass shower cabinets. Add Internet service to the mix, even though it surely won’t keep you indoors.

In Platys Gialos, between Psarrou and Paranga, the small decorative Fontana welcomes guests to a palace of timeless hospitality where beds are adorned with the sky, classic furniture features in pale tones and the Venus SPA invites you into a world of essential oils, where the curved outdoor pool can be enjoyed alongside the Mediterranean flavours at the La Veranda restaurant where the palate is tempted by a variety of delicious tastes.

Here the renovation has been on-going and creative, always maintaining an up-to-date look, even after three years. The sophisticated furnishing and the marble mosaic harmonize with the island elements and earthy indications of Matsuhisa Mykonos and the New Generation rooms. The same impressive style predominates at the central restaurant Belvedere Club with its Greek fusion kitchen, the outcome of the contract with New York based Rockwell Group for development of the swimming pool, bar and restaurant areas.
