What characterizes the island of winds? Tradition and hellenism, or glamour?

Both coexist in harmony, without one affecting the other, creating a unique patchwork of experiences, feelings and situations. 

How do foreign travellers see Mykonos? What kind of complaints do they have and what do they consider fantastic about the island?

Quality, organisation, talent. Or, in other words, a case study for a travel company in Mykonos. Kostas Pantazopoulos has the floor.

What are your childhood memories of the island?
I remember waking up to go to school and from the bus stop I would see Delos every morning!
What do you think is different in what “Ηippie Fish” offers to its clients?
Its location in a place that can generously offer a unique atmosphere of serenity and, at the same time, limitless positive energy, since it is located opposite Delos.
What is your biggest personal success so far?
It is a fish that I pulled out three years ago… Hippie Fish!

The history of Mykonos Theoxenia is long. What do you cherish the most?

The essential human moments that we have shared with our clients, and also the satisfaction we have felt when we contributed to their making.

What does your ideal day include?

When did you visit Mykonos for the first time and what was your first memory of the island?
It was in 1999, during the earthquake of Parnitha. Although I didn’t feel the earthquake, I never imagined that Mykonos would become the epicentre of an earthquake that would change many things in my professional life a few years later.
What is your occupation?
I work as a DJ, focused on mainstream house music.
What personality, past or present, has left his or her mark on Mykonos and why?

He is a vivid example of the Mykonian law of attraction. The island enchanted him, but he also transfixes those that fall into his hands with his energetic touch.

When was the first time you came to Mykonos?

I visited the island for the first time three years ago and something inside me told me that it wouldn’t be easy to abandon it.

How many months do you spend on the island?

I am here for five months a year. I have chosen to spend half of my time here!

What is your business activity today? 

Where can we find the traditional maestro of the grill, a real artist who converts roast pork into a revelation?  Start early in the afternoon, as this dining experience attracts many believers and there is always the possibility of  there not being enough for everyone. In any case, the spit-roasted suckling pig in the spit would make Obelix forget his French.
