From 1984, when Mathios Xydakis took over the taverna, until now, he has continued to meet the requirements of his extensive clientele by providing fresh fish and good meat, with a specialisation in pork shanks and rooster with wine sauce. This popular spot among yacht owners as well as also all those interested in quality Greek cuisine, includes all-time favourites such as taramosalata, prepared lovingly by a friend of Mathios for over 25 years. The famous Mathios salad with 16 vegetables is a meal in itself, while equally impressive is the Mykonian salad with louza, rusks, cucumber and sun-dried tomatoes.
