Beaches A-Z

Psarou

Has been experiencing glory days since the 80s, setting the summer’s trends which are then gradually adopted on other beaches even beyond the island. The favourite meeting point of celebrities defines the concept of luxury living on Mykonos with champagne coolers, soft beach towels and a sunbed waiting list at weekends.

Ftelia

The long, wild sandy beach on Panormos bay is becoming all the more popular and not only with wind surfing enthusiasts. Dominated by wind and waves, the Hawaii of the Cyclades has well and truly entered the travel agenda of an ever increasing number of visitors. On the western side of the beach, when it is not windy, the landscape is reminiscent of a lagoon.

Paradise

This is where Mykonos’ heart beats. Divine and jovial, among the first of the island’s hot spots to strongly support the nudist dogma, it offers copious fun with the lined-up beach bars playing loud music and getting the people up and dancing from 12 noon.

English

Platis Gialos

Protected and beautiful, with numerous hotels around the beach and several restaurants, Platis Gialos is intensely developed but in a positive way. Its big plus is its sporty character, it is one of the island’s hottest beaches although if there’s a south wind things get a little difficult.
